The Saturday Experience…
…
Last Saturaday we went and see MV Doulos to go buy cool books and meet new people aboard. MV Doulos, popularly known as the "floating library" is a ship that mainly travels around the world to sell books and actually give money to charities to help people. I really want to see the ship so there I have it. Actually I inquired on how to volunteer and be part of the group because aside from travelling by the sea (one of my pirate dreams), I also wanted to travel the world (for free) and actually meet new people, exchange ideas and culture. Maybe by next year I’ll be boarding this ship and go to Africa, hope we travel Africa by 2008 because I want to watch FIFA World Cup… Wohohooo (^_^) I can’t wait… Anyhow this picture was taken near the deck of the ship. Notice the sailors behind us.. Cool? I feel like a pirate… (>,<)
…
I bought some books, some recipe books, postcard, key chain and took a lot of pictures of me, my brother and my mom. I want to keep a souvenir just in case my dream of becoming one of them wouldn’t come true. You’ll never know what will come, really?! Harsh happy world will not tell you unless you’re eager to know what happens next… I just hope to be a volunteer and to share my knowledge and skills to others. Share my art and my music talent. I just want to share everything to all the people that would appreciate and somehow bring them hope no matter what they experience in their lives… Hard thing to do but I’ll strive to fulfill it before I get old…

I really like this picture because I was the one who took it… haha(-.-) It kinda looks like a postcard and also you can see the entire (well partly - most important part) ship here. My brother was in this picture, finally after forcing him to at least have a picture, some souvenirs that we have made it aboard this floating library… Although I heard some news that they will be leaving tomorrow. How I wish I could go with them…
…
Anyway I hope I do made it soon to be part of this group or else I’ll apply as a volunteer rather in GREEN PEACE… hahaha or help out deworming children in Africa… (*_*) Pretty cool experience…
